In August of 2019, the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO by Scaglietti sold at a Sotheby’s auction in Monterey, California, for over $48 million. GTO’s of this kind are rarely made available publicly. The record-breaking sale was the first time the car had been up for sale in over 18 years. It’s clearly one of the world’s most important and desirable vehicles.
