‘Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing’ exhibition

To mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, the Royal Collection will display 144 of the artists’ most magnificent drawings in 12 simultaneous exhibitions across the UK. ‘Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing’ exhibition will showcase works from the master himself.

Each venue will feature 12 drawings reflecting the artists’ range of interests, including painting, sculpture, architecture, botany, geology, cartography, engineering, music, and anatomy. Starting in May at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, over 200 drawings will go on display before moving to The Queen’s Gallery, Palace of Holyroodhouse, in November.
